At the Iowa AAU Regional Championships in Waterloo, Iowa Weston
led the way with a Championship in Novice Boys Double Mini followed by
making the All State Novice Boys Team with recognition in Double
Mini. Way to go, Weston!

How do you follow such a stellar day as Colby had on Saturday at the
Iowa USTA State meet? How else, but with a third state
championship! Colby earned the state championship in advanced
tumbling to make it a perfect three for three for the year and to
advance to nationals in all three divisions.
The highlight of the state meet was when Colby was
announced as the co-winner of the prestigious Iowa Achievement
Award.
April 19th, 2008
This was another red letter day for the Crase boys. The day
started with Colby winning the state championship in advanced boys
double mini. This accomplishment was quickly followed by a
second state championship title in advanced trampoline. Not to
be outdone by his big brother, Weston ended the day with a state
championship in novice boys double mini. There were lots of
smiles and a feeling of accomplishment that all those long hours of
practice had been worth the reward.
March 15, 2008
Colby competed in the final round of the USTA National Team Trials in
Lisle, Chicago. He won a berth in the final round for both
trampoline and double mini. In trampoline he finished in ninth
overall and in double mini he finished 6th overall. All
scores for all three trials will be computed with the names of the
National Team to be announce later.
February 15-16, 2008
Colby competed in the second round of the USTA National Team
Trials in Somerset,
KY. He competed in both double mini and trampoline. The
competition was extremely tough at this level and Colby finished 6th
overall in trampoline and 10th in double mini. This was the
second of three try outs with the total score of all three considered
in who will be selected for the team. Each try out is a month a
part with the final one in March.
February 10, 2008
The boys competed in Ottumwa, Iowa on February 10th. The first
to compete was Weston who took first place in his division of the Double
Mini. In the morning Colby placed
not only first in Advanced Boys in Trampoline but also won the
Over All Award in Trampoline as well. In the Double Mini Colby
won first place in the advanced boys. In the final event of the
day Colby won first in the Advanced Tumbling. Quite a day for
the two - FOUR FIRST PLACES,
Nov 17-18, 2008
Colby gave his hometown audience lots to cheer for with a first place
finish in Advanced Boys Trampoline and another first place finish in
Elite Boys Double Mini on Saturday and finished off with a first place
in Advanced Boys Tumbling (Floor) on Sunday.
Weston followed suit with two first places on
Saturday in Boys Novice competition. One in Trampoline and one
in Double Mini. This event was very important to the boys
because of so many hometown friends being able to attend. They
want to thank them all for their support!

The 2008 season kicked of on Saturday
November 10th for both Colby and Weston in Marshalltown, Iowa.
The boys continued their winning streak in Iowa with both boys
finishing first in their respective competitions. Colby
won advanced boys in both trampoline and double mini. Weston won
the same in the novice category. Their next meet is their
hometown meet November 17th.
